Trinity DebateTrinity debate1. That question makes no sense whatsoever. Where did that come from? The ONE omnipresent Spirit can manifest in whatever form He chooses - man, spirit, whatever. So what? 2. The 7 spirits in Rev 3 are simply manifestations of the ONE Spirit. 3. If you're referring to "Elohim" then that has already been refuted in various posts and threads. 4. Because the N.T. authors never heard of nor dreamed of a trinity. The early believers were all Oneness as history proves. To refer to the Father is the same as referring to Jesus. The ONE name of Jesus covers the title of Father. The N.T. authors understood Isaiah's prophecy in Is 9:6 as it was intended to be understood. And besides Jesus as a man already ascended into heaven and became a quickening Spirit form by the time the epistles were written. There was no need to emphasis Jesus's humanity as a limited being. The focus is on the spiritual not the humanity. 5. Because the N.T. authors were simply describing the roles (manifestations) of the ONE omnipresent Spirit of God. 6. The same reason many trinitarians claim they are sinless. I can name two trinity denominations that do just that - The Church Of Christ and the Seventh Day Adventists; and not mention some on this forum. Human beings are fallible, Oneness or trinity. Religious pride can creep in. Paul had to correct believers in his epistles many times. That question has nothing to do with doctrine. Your attempt to discredit Oneness Pentecostals is cheap and prejudice. |
