so alpha.. why did the later Christians believe Paul and not the earlier ones? Can you please be kind enough to post that Deutronomy quote.. I am not that good with finding verses especially when I am aware that there may be quite a few non-standard bibles. You also mentioned that Jesus (pbuh) will disown those who called him Lord but only if they practised lawlessness... but.. did not the very Paul that you in effect follow praeched to leave the law behind.. and those that want to be judged by the law have drifted far away from Jesus (pbuh).. or something along these lines.. Please post if you know the exact verses.
AND going back to our mention of Jesus' sermon on the mount... can you see why Muslims see themselves as more Christians than those that call themselves Christians. If you are not sure, please post Jesus' sermon on the mount. I have a few questions.
PS> can you tell me whether or not Jesus (pbuh) was known to have a beard or not? Can you describe his clothing? And did he have long or short hair? And did he eat pork? And did he drink? And how did he pray? And was he circumcised? And did he not perform miracles? and still say that it was done with God's authority? The Father in the Bible was not just Jesus' father, he was the father of all those believed in the supreme creator? And let us not forget, Jesus (pbuh) did not refer to God as his actual biological father, rather, Jeus (pbuh) was not always literal. he spoke in spiritual ways, not always figuritively. Right? So Jesus (pbuh) was the son of God in the same way all other prophets were the son of God. He was the Lord of his follwers the same way previos messengers were teachers of their people.
And Alpha, I am not posting to rattle your cage. I am serious. It's frustrating when one can't see what the other can. I'm sure you know what I mean.
