Jesus (pbuh) too referred to himself as the Son of Man.. NOT SON OF GOD!
You are really driving my patients. You do not read what I say because you are in such a hurry to make your point. READ AND UNDERSTAND before you comment. I never said Jesus did not refer to Himself as the Son of Man. In fact if you read one of my previous posts I said Jesus was the Son of God AND the Son of Man as it says in the bible. If you are going to believe the bible when it says Jesus is the Son of Man, why can't you believe it when it says He is the Son of God? And don't tell me Jesus Himself ONLY said he was the Son of Man but never said He was the Son of God. He did say He was the Son of God, along with MANY TIMES when he refered to God as His Father. What does that tell you?!!!!!! Jesus also said He is the only one who has seen and knows the Father. those were his EXACT words! And when Jesus said "I say unto you," he said it with authority. He said things like, "If you follow My Word." Other prophets never said the Word was theirs, but God's. Jesus said "His Word." He is not just another prophet.
*Is there a quote somewhere in the bible where he talks about those who called him Lord, he will disown them even when these people will talk about casting out demons in his name?*
Now you've really done it. You Muslims like to take scripture and interpret it the way it is not even written.
*Matthew 7:21-23: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"*
This does not by no means say that we cannot call Jesus Lord. First of all, it says NOT EVERYBODY who calls Him Lord will enter heaven. Obviously there will be some people who call Him Lord that will be in heaven. These verses are saying that there are people today who do works in Jesus name, but Jesus did not give them the authority to do those works. Believe it or not, there are some fake Christians(such as you say fake Muslims) out there that are up to their own schemes trying to cover up their real beliefs. *cough* T.D. Jakes *cough* But what true believers can do is pray for those people rather than persecute them. Those people on judgement day will pay as Jesus clearly states in the last sentence(verse 23). Do you know Jesus? I sure hope when you see Him on that day he wouldn't say to you, "I never knew you." But I am not judging, for only God can judge.
