Judaism ForumOffended, or just complex questions :: Re: Offended, or just complex questionsHello Webmaster Meaning simply that I see no reason to deny the authorship belonging to Moses either. (Spotted the typo, sorry about that) I think you have misunderstood what I am saying. The evidence lies in the fact that there is a "unified" temple scroll written by the Essenes. You seem to think I am trying to undermine the bible or something, when in truth I am just interested in your opinion. Not your anger in the other thread. I am aware that some very harsh remarks were made between people in that thread, so I wont press you at this point. I will just say that I feel you are misreading what I am trying to say, and yes I will admit I sometimes do not put things clearly. However I do feel that it would make an interesting thread to discuss the confusing questions raised within the torah, and hopefully without people shouting, some of the more confusing questions will be resolved. I will stress however that I am not trying to undermine the scriptures in any way. And I also follow the belief that Moses was the sole author of the Torah. I appreciate it has been a difficult time discussing these things, but I do feel discussion would be helpful. Remember if this was discussed before, I have not yet encountered the thread you speak of (Where you played Devil's advocate). And if the discussion you mentioned is in one of the "Hidden" threads, I am unable to access it and form any opinions. Shalom Sophie. |
