Child Molestation is a Sin!what right does anybody have to call it a sinYou have posted a lot of misinformation and outright propaganda that is false. I personally know dozens of ex-gays who were not hurt by changing their sexual orientation. I have read many of the so-called testimonies by ex-ex-gays and they almost always refer to some un-named ex-gay ministry that caused them major psychological trauma. The only one that did name a ministry demonstrated by what he wrote that he did not have the motivation to change and/or was simply sight seeing what that residential ministry was all about. Since all of my ex-gay friends and acquaintances did not avail themselves of the services of NARTH and other mental health professionals they are not included in the statistics such organizations publish. So your rhetoric is based on lack of real knowledge of what ex-gay ministries do. These ministries are available of those seeking information and help they do not go out and actively recruit gays to “convert”. Before you continue with your ignorant diatribe I suggest you find a copy of “Desires In Conflict” and read the first couple of chapters. Joe Dallas, who is ex-gay and a mental health professional, lays it on the line concerning attempting to change ones sexual orientation. The truth is not every one who enters treatment is going to succeed and Joe is upfront that you better know what is involved or simply forget it and accept your sexuality and live your life. God does not say gays are bad, the Bible states all sexual immorality is a sin and that God will judge sin. Gay people are no more evil than straights. |
