Trinity DebateTrinity debateNow you are saying that echad doesn't ALWAYS mean what I want it to mean. Webmaster's original post suggested that echad ALWAYS means a "compound one" and that if a "non-compound one" is intended, yachid should be used. If I didn't know better, and if I didn't look up a list of the usages of echad in Strong's, I would have been entirely mislead by Webmaster's post. THAT is the point. WHO is giving out false info? Some more examples of "echad" - The name of the one(echad) was Adah (Gen.3:6) This one(echad) fellow came in to sojourn (19:9) Cast the child under one(echad) of the shrubs (21:15) We are all one(echad) man's sons (42:11) Send one(echad) of you (42:16) one(echad) house (Ex.12:46) one(echad) side (25:32) one(echad) curtain (26:2) one(echad) stone (28:10) one(echad) bullock (29:1) one(echad) ram (29:15) one(echad) basket (29:3) one(echad) lamb (29:39) |
