Huum,? Treat every one like they are Christ.?
I don't know, I think Jesus meant something a little different there. I tend to believe that Jesus was pointing out how much He loves all mankind, He was saying that if you have done it for the least of these then you have done it for me. I believe He is saying that when we His children show acts of kindness and love to each other then in fact we are showing acts of kindness and love to His greatly beloved children whom He was willing to die for. I read a wonderful story once where a lady received a letter from Jesus, in the letter Jesus said that He would be coming by for supper. So this lady who didn't have much scraped together a couple of dollars and rushed to the store to buy something special for supper. As she was leaving the store a scraggly looking man walked up and said lady I lost my job and my kids are hungry could you spare a couple of bucks? The lady who was broke said I am sorry but I don't have any money and she turned to walk away. Then she stopped and turned around, she called the man back and gave him that bag of groceries she had just bought. She figured Jesus would understand if their supper meal was simple. But when she got home there was another letter waiting at her door, it said, "It sure was nice seeing you again, and thanks for the supper."
So as I said, I don't believe Jesus was saying to treat others like they are Him, but to love others with the love He loves us with.
God Bless
