To Aineo:
I am not trying to be judgemental or anything. All I'm saying is that this is the only place in the Bible that talks about the issue of homosexuality. The way I read Romans 1:18-32 is that Paul is talking about different cultures that he wants to go witness about Christ to because the people are deep in sin. Our culture- TV, music, videos, humor, newspapers, magazines, conversations- is packed full of unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedience to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgement of God, ...........have pleasure in them that do them.
I'm just saying no one should think he or she is meant to be gay, or lesbian - it isn't preordained- no one should feel that other people will like them better if they "just admit" they are gay. Being gay is not an answer to anyone's problem but our media teaches that a person can be gay without ever having had sex with a person of the same sex and that simply is not true. It is society that wants to make people believe they have to be that way. Being gay is like a drug addiction- It is nearly impossible to stop unless you have a reason to stop- If Alexander the Great was "gay" then he certainly didn't have any problem going straight again so he could have a baby and a wife. People have different personalities- No one's personality makes them gay.
