ArchivedChristadelphianismHi Sevryn, No. We deny the trinity for many reasons. You however were hoping to prove the trinity from a verse which was added into the bible. That's quite another thing. *snip* When I want to decide whether something is Biblical, I read the Bible, not the Church Fathers! No, we agree with the principle of Sola Scriptura. This is precisely why we deny additional documents such as the Nicene Creed which contain unbiblical statements. It's dodgy. Look, if you want to know about us then ask us! There's lots of rubbish written about us. You know, as that information you got is messed up, we ourselves don't believe some of the stuff it claims that we do - because it's got it wrong! Please do me a favour and tell me who my "cult leader" is - I didn't know I had one!!! That's odd, since we teach against it! That's interesting because we're the ones saying that the truth is in the Bible and you're the one who is telling us we can't simply read and interpret our Bibles for ourselves, you're telling us that we must go along with what the Church Fathers said (which in itself is quite a feat as they didn't all agree with each other). |
