no, just christian fundamentalism. i find it soo fun to debate with you guys! thanks.
I agree with some rcc dogma and other protestant things, but im not big on the bible. there are a lot of very good things in the bible. but there are also several contradictions. and i dont agree that jesus is a savior for many reasons. one, there are people who havent heard of jesus. second, there were many like jesus who proclaimed they were of God (who to believe, might was well follow the One and True God instead of supposed prophets). you may believe that jesus is your savior. others believe that the savior is yet to come. others believe that the savior other sages or prophets.
i view all of these things as different views on seeing God. every person is different and view God differently.
christian fundamentalist bothers me because its very hypocritical the way they *accept* people and yet reject thier behavior. i see this in many christian fundamentalists, and other people too. though they want to believe that they are all accepting and all, they arent. i can see that, even sometimes i cant accept my enemies. i know it will take time, im a faulted human. so what.
i dont believe that one should stick dogmatically to scripture. scripture was created by men centuries ago. it changes. or should be interpreted differently. some main obvious things will never change. thou shalt not lie, steal, commit adultry, etc,... but other things are debatable. i have nothing against the bible. i just disagree with some of it. i dont think God or Jesus really care if you are straight, gay, black, jew, disabled, etc,... as long as you love God. people might say, if you loved God so much, you would stop being gay. well, i do love God, and i am gay. i dont have to listen to YOUR (not refering to this forum or you specifically, just other people bent on mandating other's personal beliefs) interpretation, but God's.
so thats what i believe.
cya!
