i was reffering to the tools of measurement
a holy book is in the first place a book wich reveals the nature of God and his relationship too man.
pseudo scientific observations made in a religious book, are not a proof of divinity either, since every claimed science viewable from man's position can be found without the need of God.
as didn't i say that they contradict, but that they work on entire different levels... things of 'science' in a religious book are never complete -since they aren't science books- merely a small description of certain invent, unrelated to the context of the revelation. there aren't formula's in their, no theories of black holes, no math or drug researches. All but some few lines wich resemble something we allready know from real research.
modern science is trying to understand our surroundings, it's God revealing himself trough our understanding (wich has mistakes in them, and is ever evolving)
while the bible is God revealing himself true his understanding of what is relevant for us to know and Baconian philosophy on scientific research wasn't a priority.
