Funny. So if my wife gets pregnant, we could change how the state views our baby every day or week.
Week 30 - we don't want the baby, so it's not a human.
Week 31 - we want the baby, so it's a human now.
Week 32 - we don't want the baby, so it's back to being a non-human.
Week 33 - we want the baby again, so it's a human again.
What a riot! How absurd that the state would change it's view on something so serious as a child life based solely on whether or not someone wants the child. As if the feelings of the parent have anything to do with what the fetus actually is - a human. It's about time for the state to get a spine and stand up for something (preferably the right for every child to live).
Besides, I think I read somewhere that there are just as many, if not more, families that are willing/wanting to adopt than there are aborted babies. So if you're going solely on whether anyone wants the baby, then technically there are no unwanted babies anywhere.
