Comparing nuclear fusion to abiogenesis is fallacious, Helix. We know that fusion is the result of high temperatures and pressure. These are physical processes which we can duplicate and understand.
Abiogenesis experiments have failed 100%
Leading to the biological theorem (which I am not responsible for!) that "It takes a cell to make a cell." If you took the time at all to read the links I provided, you will see the complexity of cellular activity is exponentially higheer than fusion.
Fusion involves atoms doing what they do naturally under those considitions.
Life involves atoms and molecules doing what they do NOT do naturally and we cannot duplicate under ANY conditions.
