Gerani, I'd like to apologize if I've sounded like I was being harsh with you. It's just that I'm very passionate when it comes to my desire to fight for the protection of children. Not to mention the fact that I strongly believe that human beings have no right to "play God." That's exactly what is being done every time an abortion procedure is performed or an unborn child is murdered for its stem cells. (Which, by the way, have never been proven to be beneficial in the fight against diseases. It's reported that adult stem cells are much more effective and that, unlike infant stem cells, they do not cause cancer and various other side effects.)
Anyway, I for one am extremely grateful that we won't have to "look forward" to four years of John Kerry. President Bush may not be the most articulate man, but at least he stands up for what he believes in, and at least his beliefs are godly. I'm thankful for the fact that he is not shy in making it known that he is a Christian and that he relies on God frequently. We know what his principles are, and we know that he is not ashamed to stand up for those principles.
I trust Kerry just about as far as I can throw him. He's a man who claims that, as a Catholic, he is opposed to abortion. But at the same time, he's stated that he doesn't want to "impose" his beliefs upon other people. So in essence, he does support abortion, because he is unwilling to fight for laws that would make it illegal. He's a hypocrite, and I'm glad that he will not be our next President. He flip-flops on issues left and right, and he would only succeed in dragging our country down.
Our country deserves much better.
Narky_McDark, I'd rather have an inarticulate leader over someone who says one thing and does another. A person's vote should be based upon their convictions, not upon a candidates intelligence or speaking ability. You, like every other screaming liberal in this country, are just looking for another reason to hate Bush. Pretty sad, actually.
Once again, gerani, I ask you: What would you have done about Saddam Hussein? Could you have come up with a better way to take him out of power and put an end to the murders, tortures, and rapes? Because if you can't, then perhaps you should stop criticizing President Bush and his administration. Criticizing a person does not lead to progress. So if you have a better idea, let us hear it. Otherwise, just keep your criticisms to yourself, because they aren't helping.
