Science, Creation & EvolutionHelix - atheistAnimals other than man can display emotions, consciousness, and intelligence. My miniature poodle has consciousness (he is aware of his surroundings), can display emotions with his tail, ears, even his eyes and when he is upset can decide to shred every piece of paper he can get his teeth on, which demonstrates "intelligence" because he seems to understand he is "getting even" when I leave him alone. He also demonstrates intelligence by how fast he learns. However, only man can make "moral" decisions, which is why Homo sapiens are "unique" among animals. Now, how does evolution explain this “unique” ability of mankind? |
