Ok H20, I will answer your questions but you better stop avoiding mine.
1. "Allah, there is no God but He, the Living, the Eternal. Neither
slumber nor sleep seizes Him. To Him belongs what is in
the heavens and in the earth. Who can intercede with Him,
except by His permission? He knows what lies before
them and after them and they know nothing of his knowledge,
save such as He wills. His throne encompasses the heavens and the earth
and He never wearies of preserving them. He is Sublime, the Exalted.
Correct. That is the verse of the throne
2. Quran says Yeshua was saved by Allah, did not die; someone else was crucified instead of him (Judas).
I was not refering to the crucifixion. "second question what does the Quran say about Jesus's death,
is he still alive or desceased ?"
That is what I asked you.
Ok are you with me? NO one can change the words of your god and yet they HAVE BEEN CHANGED.
..The Qibla (prayer direction) was changed from Jerusalem to Mecca (Sura 2:142-144);
Where is the verse
commanding them in the Quran to turn to Jeruslam ?
How is this and the other you mentioned
Jumbled Up Mess Jumbled up mess is something that cant be understood, but yet your showing something that is understood.
Also, Allah says none can change his words, If G-D says none can move a rock but G-D later moves the Rock how does that conflict ? The Speaker is excluded from "none"
Further, The word refering to that cannot be changed is Allah decree of his word not to scriptual word as in Arabic the term is "kalimah" which is a feminine verbal noune and not "Kitaab"
Your approach to this is based on Christian ideology. Allah's words is his decree. If all says you will die on such and such date can you change it ? No. His decree will be fulfilled.
The division of inheritance left by parents or other relatives according to Sura 4:7 had to be equal (a share and a share which has to be determined). This was abrogated and replaced by verse 11, where it is commanded that males must get double the share of females.
You would be better off quoting the Quran rather than dictating it:
[6] Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: but all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.
[7] From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large, a determinate share.
[8] But if at the time of division other relatives, or orphans, or poor, are present, feed them out of the (property), and speak to them words of kindness and justice.
[9] Let those (disposing of an estate) have the same fear in their minds as they would have for their own if they had left a helpless family behind; let them fear Allah, and speak words of appropriate (comfort).
[10] Those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans, eat up a fire into their own bodies: they will soon be enduring a blazing fire!
[11] Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children's (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Verses 6-10 is speaking about inheritance of Orphans and verse 11 speaks about the inheritance of children (begotten children). Two different topics, no obragation
The night prayer performed by reciting the Quran ought to be more or less half the time of the night (Sura 73:2). This was changed to as much as may be easy for you (verse 20).
In correct. Verse 73:2 is in the singular speaking to Muhammad not the general. Again you should quote. Its a habit for A christian to distort things from their context.
[1] O thou (Muhammad) folded in garments!
[2] Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night,
[3] Half of it, or a little less,
[4] Or a little more; and recite the Qur-an in slow, measured rhythmic tones.
[5] Soon shall We send down to thee(Muhammad) a weighty Message.
There is not obrogation. This verse is specifically directed to the Propher himself from Allah and the other verse you Quoted is in the Plural for the general.
Lets look at the other verse:
[20] Thy Lord (O Muhammad) doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee (Muhammad) [note:This is a ingular coinciding with 73:1-5 above]. But Allah doth appoint Night and Day in due measure. He knoweth that you [in arabic is "kum" that is plural for "you all", in which muhammad is not being addressed here but to those who are with him as " a party of those" ] are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you[ "Kum" ~ you all ](in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur-an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause. Read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur-an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls, ye shall find it in Allah's Presence, yea, better and greater, in Reward, and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
The rest of the verse is in plural addressing the muslim community and not Muhammad.
In the Arabic it is a clear distiction. Not my fault you dont understand Arabic. WHy dont you ask you G-D to give you the Holy Ghost to understand some Arabic.
The treatment of adulteresses is to be life imprisonment (Sura 4:15), which was changed to flogging with 100 strokes (Sura 24:2). This despite the leniency prescribed for homosexuals (Sura 4:16) on repenting.
Wow now we getting deep. Let look at the words of the verses:
[4] If any of your women are guilty of lewdness(Arabic "faahishah"), take the evidence of four (reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way
.
Where do you see Adulteress in that verse ? The Arabic word is "faahishah" is a homosexual act, or flerticiousness, or lewdness.
[24] The woman and the man guilty of adultery/fornication (Arabic "Zina" flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.
THe Arabic word here is "Zina" which means adultry or fornication.
[4] If two men among you are guilty of
lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
Lets see verse 4:15 is speaking about women and vers 16 speak about men who practice "faahishah". You state you self verse 15 speaks about homosexuals but it procceeds right after verse 15 about the same thing.
These verses are of different conditions from 24:2
The retaliation in cases of crime, particularly murder, was to be confined to people of equal rank (slave for slave, free for free etc.) (Sura 2:178) This is in disagreement with Sura 5:48 and Sura 17:33 where retaliation is allowed against the murderer only.
WHy do I get the feeling this is a copy paste thing your doing here
O well , lets take a look at those lovely verse,in context of course, that you so wantonly have misunderstood in which you claim you understand.
[2] O ye who believe! The law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude. This is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this, whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.
[179] In the Law of Equality there is (saving of) Life to you, O ye men of understanding; that ye may restrain yourselves.
[180] It is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leave any goods, that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin, according to reasonable usage; this is due from the God-fearing.
Now Lets look at 5:48
[5] To thee(Muhammad) We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single People, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you; so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute
These are two remote topics. now lets look at 17:33:
[17] Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, We have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the law).
Where is the Jumble Mess at ? The Authority given to heir is in 2:178
The Jihad or Holy War was forbidden in the sacred months (Sura 9:5) but is allowed, even encouraged in verse 36 which replaces the former.
You would make a good sales person. Unfortunatly customer who are smart would go and do some research rather than listen to you being mislead. Lets look at those verses.
[1] A (declaration) of immunity from Allah and His Messenger, to those of the Pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances.
[2] Go ye, then, for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him.
[3] And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage - that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.
[9] But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Read carefully "
But when the forbidden months are past" Here was refering to a particular event in history when the Pagans broke their treaty with the muslims. The muslim community was to wait until after the prophibited moth was passed to engabe in war with them for violation of the treaty.
Now lets look at verse 36
[9] The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year), so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves
If we are attacked in the sacred months then we are to fight back. It wouldnt be wise to allow our enemies to attack us and not to fight back to allow them to slaughter our families and selves.
Verse 5 is on the offensive and verse 36 is speaking about he deffensive. Nothing here was orbrogated.
"Sura 2:106 occurs immediately before a series of sweeping changes, or rather modifications, introduced by Muhammad in both the ritual and the legal spheres. The verse thus precedes a change in the Qibla (vss. 115,177,124-151); in the pilgrimage rites (vs. 158); in the dietary laws (vss. 168-l74); in the law relating to talio (vss. 178-179); in bequests (vss. 180-182); in the fast (vss. 182-187); and again in the pilgrimage (vss. 191-203).
Similarly, Sura 16:101 is followed by allusions to modifications in the dietary laws (vss 114-119), and in the Sabbath laws (vs.124)" ("The Collection of the Quran" by John Burton).
I knew you were cupying and pasting.
Did you ever go back and confirm this claim ? More than likely no.
The command for the Jeruslam Qiblah is not in the Quran so it cannot be said to obrogate another verse when the verse doesnt exist in the Quran.
If you understand the Pilgrimage rights in the Quran then why dont you explain it for us on what the conflict is rather than copy and pasting someone elses ranting ?
Please explain to us the dietary Laws and the conflict in them ?
Please explain to us the talio law and the bequest law ? What is the change and conflict. Its all accusation but showing nothing. You have yer to quote one verse in it place to coincide with the alledged propblem you are asserting cause you never went back to verify the info. I would have not problem in debating with you but produce some proof and explain. you didnt explain anything with allegation of someone else with quoted verses.
Since you too lazy to show a single verse that you never read before then I would post it for you then work off of that and tell us what the problem is.
[2] None of our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: knowest thou not that Allah hath power over all things?
This is not refering to the revelation of the Quran within it self ,
WRONG !!! The Abrogation here is refering to the Quran abrogating the former revelations the Gospel, the Torah etc. For example: Salatal-Jumuah abrogated the Sabbath day etc. It is something simular to the Sabbath. Also the revelation of the Quran are progressive upon it self fulfilling the its revelation within its self.
[115] To Allah belong the East and the West: whithersoever ye turn, there is Allah's countenance. For Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.
This vers has nothing to do with the Qiblah or its changes. It is merely stating Allah is the owner of both east and west and wherever we turn Allah is always before us.
[2] It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practise regular charity, to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the God-fearing.
What does this have to do with the Qiblah ? The Topic is speaking about righteousness not Qiblah ?
[
124] And remember that Ibrahim was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: he said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers."
[125] Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Ibrahim and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in Prayer).
[126] And remember Ibrahim said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its People with fruits' such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith, for a while will I grant them their Pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire, an evil destination (indeed)!"
[127] And remember Ibrahim and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (with this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: for Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
[128] "Our Lord! Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will); and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (Will); and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful
128] "Our Lord! Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will); and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (Will); and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
[129] "Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom, and sanctify them: for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
[130] And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: and he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous.
[131] Behold! his Lord said to him: "Bow (thy will to Me):" he said: "I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe."
[132] And this was the Legacy that Ibrahim left to his sons, and so did Ya'qub; "O my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the state of submission (to Allah).
[133] Were ye witnesses when Death appeared before Ya'qub? Behold he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship thy God and the God of thy fathers, - of Ibrahim, Isma'il and Ishaq, - the One (True) God: to Him we bow (in Islam)."
[134] That was a People that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case!
[135] They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Ibrahim, the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."
[136] Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes, and that given to Musa and 'Isa, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to Allah (in Islam)."
[137] So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
138] (Our religion is) the Baptism of Allah: and who can baptize better than Allah? And it is He Whom we worship.
[139] Say: Will ye dispute with us about Allah, seeing that He is our Lord and your Lord; that we are responsible for our doings and ye for yours; and that we are sincere (in our faith) in Him?
[140] Or do ye say that Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? But Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!
140] Or do ye say that Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? But Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!
[141] That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case:
[142] The Fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong East and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.
[143] Thus have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and we appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (from the Faith). Indeed it was (a change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
[144] We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens: now shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque: wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord, nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.
[145] Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, wert to follow their (vain) Desires, then wert thou indeed (clearly) in the wrong.
[146] The people of the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know.
[147] The Truth is from thy Lord so be not at all in doubt.
[148] To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) towards all that is good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you together. For Allah hath power over all things.
[149] From whencesoever thou startest forth turn thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque; that is indeed the truth from thy Lord. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
[150] So from whencesoever thou startest forth, turn thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye may (consent to) be guided;
[151] A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and purifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge.
Again were is the verse saying for them to face towards Jerusalem. Where is the two conflicting verses ? Whats the issue with the Qiblah ?
[2] Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to Good, be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth.
Where is the conflict in the the Pilgrimage rights ? Please explain ?
Elaborating on this we note that the fast is compulsory "but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the prescribed number (should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (with hardship) is a ransom, the feeding of one, that is indigent." (Sura 2:184).
"'Here one can hardly escape the conclusion that the first verse (i.e. 184) allows a rich man to buy himself out of the fast." ("Islam" by A. Guillaume). The next verse is said to replace the former. It allows no compensation of any kind for the fast.
I thought you understood the Quran: Here is the verse.
[183] O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,
[184] (Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (with hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent but he that will give more, of his own free will, it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.
Is your reading comprehension in tact ? For those who are ill, or on a Journey that are able to do it who miss the fast then they are to feed the indigent if they are not able to make up the day(s) missed There is a condition here.
In verse 180 of the same Sura "it is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leaves any goods, that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin....". This is said to be replaced by Sura 4:11, according to which a double portion of inheritance falls to males compared to that of females.
Lets look at the verses. If questioned of why you dont post the verse rather than dictating them.
[2] It is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leave any goods, that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin, according to reasonable usage; this is due from the God-fearing.
Now lets look at the other verse:
[4] Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children's (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half.
Read carefully whats the difference. You mind to ellaborate on this on how those two verses conflict with each other, or where is the Jumble Mess that you been ranting about ?
The much discussed "verses of the sword": "....fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (or war)." (Sura 9:5) and "....when you meet the unbelievers (in fight) cut off their necks..." (Sura 47:4) are "said to have cancelled no less than 124 verses which enjoined toleration and patience." (A. Guillaume).
Those verses do not cancel out each other or Obrogate.
[9] A (declaration) of immunity from Allah and His Messenger, to those of the Pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances.
[4] (But the treaties are) not dissolved with those Pagans with whom ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term: for Allah loveth the righteous.
[5] But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Again I thought you read the Quran. Read it again if you did. What is the context refering to and who are the ones war is suppose to be against. Let go to the other verse incontext. :
[47] Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah; their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).
[2] But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.
[3] This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes.
[4] Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.
Show us how 47:4 is obrogates 9:5 . Let me guess you didnt go back and check and confirm. You just took the yapping of another and ran away with it witout confirming the vailidity of the source.
SO according to what you have produced here, you have only scored 1 right, and have proved you dont understand the Quran and are drunk in misunderstanding.
You merely followed someone elses yapping leadin you self down into the same whole with them.
