Archivedbad theology of Dr Ross.If you mean do I hold both scripture and nature to be accurate representations of the Creator, yes. I do not hold, nor does Hugh, that nature holds spiritual revelations regarding our salvation or our relationship to Jesus Christ. He holds that nature is accurate and represents what God intends it to represent, and it will not disagree with scripture. This has been highly distorted by some of the essays you have posted....horribly so Yes, primarily the quote is taken out of context. In no way does he change scripture the way this out of context quote implies.....he was making an analogy that flowed from his presentation of the wonders of the created universe and its craftmanship, care, design, and magnitude.....he was not adding to or changing scripture as this out of context quote would have you believe. Funny...Ross does not agree with that. I heard him speak directly on that subject at Oxford at a conference entitled "Creation and Time", Ross maintains that God is atemporal, WL Craig asserts that God is omnitemporal, and has "extrinsically" been changed by time. Ross clearly disagreed. You must be reading something else out of context, I heard it from his own lips. LOL..you are not interested in that anywhere.....you made that plain. It is too full of material that disagrees with you, and answers your mistaken view point by point.....so ignore it....thats par for the course. |
