Hi Phiz,
Thanks so much for your interest…
Yes….it came as quite a surprise to me, as well, that the Koran quite clearly proclaims that Jesus is God Almighty!
In fact, the Koran is replete with examples of the divinity of our Lord and Savior…
The Koran proclaims these things…
1) Jesus is worshiped as God
2) Jesus was Crucified
3) Jesus was Resurrected
4) Jesus judges the dead
5) The redeemed whiten their clothes by His Blood
For the individuals that have been brought up in the “traditional” Muslim rhetoric, they will have a most difficult time with this, as serious re-programming will need to be performed on their psyche…
As far as the popular English Korans that are available to day…..throw them out….!
A grave injustice has been done by the modern-day authors of these translations, as they completely and utterly obliterate the “original” Arabic message…which is essentially Biblical Hebrew & Greek translated into Arabic…
Look at the definition for Jesus in Arabic…
عِيسَى = “AAeesa”
“AAeesa” definition:
Plural. Proper name; Jesus. Having a white color inclining towards black or reddish white, or white. Whiteness mixed with somewhat of red hue; whiteness in which is a mixture of clearness with slight darkness; or yellowish whiteness.

Plural…?
White color inclining towards red….?
Now…where in the world would these descriptives have come from…..?
Anyway, getting back to Sura 86…..I have been giving my original exegesis a serious upgrade lately, with even more absolutely astounding evidence upon which I am basing my conclusions…
Sura 86 is all about describing a known entity…..let’s see if we can figure out who it is referring to…
Here is a nut-shell summary of Sura 86…
1) The entity described, manifests itself in three parts, as mandated by “alttariqi”
a. Morning Star
b. One who knocks
c. One who comes in the night
2) The entity is sworn by, ayah 1
3) The entity is already known, ayah 2
4) The entity is given two more attributes, ayah 3:
a. That of a rising star/planet
b. Having piercing brightness
5) The entity is further described as enduring a blood punishment in which all souls will gather upon it as a guardian, ayah 4
6) Man has an intimate and consecrated connection with the entity, ayah 5
7) Man is created via water from the entity, ayah 6
8 ) The source of the water, that mankind is “created” from comes from “alttariqi” and yet three more attributes have been given to the entity, ayah 7:
a. The water, that man is “created from”, comes from the Human anatomy
b. The event that has just occurred is a Crucifixion event “ssulbi”
c. Juxtaposed to this is a Resurrection event “ttara-ibi”
9) This Resurrection event describes the entity as being singularly brought back “rajAAihi”, ayah 8
10) Thus, we have “alttariqi” not only being Crucified, but Resurrected as well
11) The day of Judgment comes, ayah 9
12) The Judgment day is mandated by “nasirin”, or Savior, ayah 10
13) Then comes the Eschatological demise of the Heavens, ayah 11
14) Then the Eschatological demise of the earth, ayah 12
15) “alttariqi” judges with His Word, ayah 13
16) His singular judgment “huwa” is not in vain, ayah 14
17 ) The plotting and scheming of the people, ayah 15
18 ) The entities own “akeedu” singular plan, ayah 16
19) “Alttariqi” gives respite (a period of temporary delay) to all the disbelievers, ayah 17
So…..who do you think fits the bill of “alttariqi”..?
The choice is crystal clear….
Since Islam’s “prophet” never wrote the Koran, and the earliest extant remnant copies of the Koran are mere fragments of suras dating to a century after the “supposed” events took place, it would be most difficult for Muslims to assert anything conclusive regarding the “origin” of their “holy” book…
However, we have to tools today to probe the extant copies of the Koran, and determine for ourselves the true origins of what they indeed must adhere to…
Thanks for your great questions….I hope that I shed some light on them…
Take care…
