ArchivedGOD in CHRIST!Great post Omega! I like to add that some of the Qur'an's English translations do indeed show 'Lord' (Surah 20, 57, 73 to name a few). However, the only proclaimation (that I know of) by Allah declaring himself lord is in Surah 20:12, italic mine If you noticed, it says 'thy Lord' or in basic english, 'your Lord' but he did not declare himself as THE Lord whereas the Bible does..repeatedly. A Buddah god can be your lord if you follow him. A Hindu god can be your lord if you follow him. Even Satan can be your lord if you follow him. However, none proclaim to be THE Lord. In the Bible, God proclaims himself as 'THE Lord' many times whether you follow Him or not, believe in Him or not, He is still THE Lord. For The Harvest, Eddie |
