A couple more observations on "seed". A botanist views "seed" as one way flora reproduce, however, fungus reproduce with spores, which are smaller than seeds. God makes a covenant with Abraham and makes a promise concerning his "seed". Paul builds a whole theological argument around Abraham's "seed". A human sperm is a great deal smaller than an orchid "seed".
So I guess we can say the Bible is not inerrant because God did not mention "sperm"?
Are you a Catholic? Catholics maintain Jesus gave Peter the authority to forgive or retain sin because Jesus used a Jewish idiom concerning "binding and loosing". A lot of bad theology is based on ignorance of Hebrew culture and idioms.
A couple of agnostics and atheists in the science forum are questioning the inerrancy and accuracy of the Bible because of Job 38-40, where God speaks about the 4 corners of the earth.
In our culture we have sayings like the "4 corners of the earth", "the 4 winds", and the "seeds of contention".
