Homosexual Discussion ForumLeviticus. Now you sound like the atheists we are debating in the Science forum.
Did the Jews have the botanical knowledge we do today? You posted the proverbial way Jews used the "mustard" seed and then proceed to use science to show the Bible is not inerrant. So what are you saying that science is your god?
Although your analysis of the Greek used in the Septuagint is informative it is not germane to this discussion. Hebrew has a vocabulary of 30,000 words; Koine Greek has a vocabulary of 300,000 words and Moses wrote the Torah in Hebrew not Greek. Alexandrian Jews translated the Septuagint over a period of hundreds of years and what we have today is not the original. Have you studied the history of the LXX and how many times it was revised?
However, lets look at the words translated “abomination” and abominations” in the Hebrew.

In Leviticus 18:22 the Hebrew is “tow`ebah or to`ebah”. Now the same Hebrew word is used in Leviticus 18:26 & 27 and is used to refer to adultery, incest, and bestiality.
Is it you contention that adultery, incest, and bestiality are only condemned in a ritual sense and not a moral sense?
You have spent a lot of time attempting to show the Bible does not condemn homosexual sexual relationships and have not posted where you find God’s instructions for those relationships, which is one of the questions I asked you.
Why should I ban you or close this thread? You have not attacked individuals and so far have stayed on point. Chris choose to ignore our posting rules and posted hate, not information aimed at educating us.
