First of all, I’m sorry to hear about your health condition. I wish you health & peace.

information that is false. Do an Internet search using "oral transmission of HIV" and you can find lots of information...”
Response: It is obvious to anyone who verifies the info from my links from both sources, the Center for Disease Control & The Body, from which you also allege you got your info on the oral transmission of HIV that you either copies incorrectly or are simply providing false info.
Yours is a lazy habit of merely naming your internet sources without giving the exact location, whereas, I am in the habit of posting specific web site addresses where my informative quotes can be found, scrutinized & verified.
The web site you mentioned, The Body, has, in its content, info from the Center for Disease Control at http://www.thebody.com/bp/mar00/news.html, the following information regarding transmission of HIV via oral sex:
“...This study, one component of a primary and recent HIV infection study called the Options Project, is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at the University of California, San Francisco. The purpose of this particular study was to ascertain the extent of HIV
transmitted by oral sex among men who have sex with men who were identified with HIV within 12 months of becoming infected...The Options Project found that 7.8% (8 of 102) of recently infected men who have sex with men in San Francisco were probably infected through oral
sex...”
Again, note my specific identification of the web site,
http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/pubs/facts/oralsexqa.htm, from my previous post, reproduces vebatim the information cited above from The Body:
“...The Options Project found that 7.8% (8 of 102) of recently infected men who have sex with men in San Francisco were probably infected through oral sex...”
Now, if you have any info contradicting mine, post the exact web page location so it can be verified.
Ainea wrote:“...As to homosexuality being genetic, no ethical molecular geneticist has ever stated that homosexuality has a genetic cause...”
Response: I suggest you contact the scientists enumerated (1) - (3) below & ask them if they consider themselves ethical. Perhaps, you may want to research their credentials & standing in the scientific community which I doubt will be notoriously discredited as those of the darling of the ex-gay ministry big business Paul Cameron a self-loathing, homophobic ex-gay who garlanded for himself the following “laurels” from the scientific & judicial communities & in whose footsteps you seem to be walking.
From http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbow/h ... sheet.html
: "...Paul Cameron (Nebraska) was dropped from membership for a violation of the Preamble to the Ethical Principles of Psychologists" by the APA Board of Directors...
...the Nebraska Psychological Association adopted a resolution stating that it "formally disassociates itself from the representations and interpretations of scientific literature offered by Dr. Paul Cameron in his writings and public statements on sexuality...
...the American Sociological Association (ASA) adopted a resolution which asserted that "Dr. Paul Cameron has consistently misinterpreted and misrepresented sociological research on sexuality, homosexuality, and lesbianism" and noted that "Dr. Paul Cameron has repeatedly
campaigned for the abrogation of the civil rights of lesbians and gay men, substantiating his call on the basis of his distorted interpretation of this research...
...The American Sociological Association officially and publicly states that Paul Cameron is not a sociologist, and condemns his consistent misrepresentation of sociological research...
...Judge Buchmeyer of the U.S. District Court of Dallas referred to "Cameron's sworn statement that 'homosexuals abuse children at a proportionately greater incident than do heterosexuals,'" and concluded that "Dr. Paul Cameron...has himself made misrepresentations to this Court" and that "There has been no fraud or misrepresentations
except by Dr. Cameron..."
As I was saying, ask the following scientist regarding their professional ethics.

(3) Gay men with one or more gay brothers Volunteers for NIH Genetic Study of Sexual Orientation sought. Gay men with one or more gay
brothers and their families are invited to participate in a study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.
We are doing DNA studies of each chromosome region, looking initially for regions where gay brothers tend to share the same genes. Our goal is to locate one or more genes which increase the probability of a man having same-sex orientation. Identification of such genes will give us important insight into the basis of normal variation in this important aspect of human behavior.

Ainea wrote: “...check out the definition of “sodomy...”
Response: Take your pick. From http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=sodomy:
(1) Anal copulation of one male with another.
(2) Anal or oral copulation with a member of the opposite sex.
(3) Copulation with an animal.
Ainea wrote: “...There is absolutely no empirical evidence that homosexuality is genetic...”
Response: Actually, empirical evidence is the most abundant evidence there is for homosexuality being genetic. After all, animals cannot be said to have culture wherein their sexual orientations can be influenced by social & environmental conditions.
In Bruce Bagemihl’s 572-page book, “Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality & Natural Diversity, nominated in 1999 for a Pulitzer Prize, contains 200 years of scientific observations of animal behavior in hundreds of species both in the wild & in captivity of homosexuality in animals from insects to reptiles, to birds to mammals, including the most intelligent species such as primates & dolphins.
Regardless of all the spiritual garnishes with which humans tend to adorn themselves in an attempt to distance themselves from the rest of creation & place themselves in company with celestial entities throughout all of known history, they are still biologically speaking, animals.
Shall we all sing in unison from the broadway hit "Hair" adapted from Shakespeare?
"...What a piece of work is man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, in port & movement how express & admirable. In action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god, the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals..."

I’ll have to stop at this point due to pressing matters I have to attend. Later.
