Science, Creation & EvolutionEvolution VS Bible debateI was talking more in the sense of a dinosaur being a reptile...I know what you mean, though. The assumption brought forth by evolution is still a travesty, however. The tail moves like a cedar. If God wanted to show the tail as being small, He would not have used the word 'cedar'. I'm sure, instead, He would have used a word that describes something smaller, i.e., a rod or staff. The Bible uses the word 'cedar' and a cedar tree is naturally a huge tree. It's tail moved like a cedar. Tell me, how the heck does a cedar move!??! It's a tree! That's blunt of you . The tail of the behemoth moves 'like' or 'as if' it was a cedar tree. The Bible is simply showing that the behemoth has a huge tail and it is comparing the tail to a tree: both are huge. Like tuppence said, how can that be unrealistic? tuppence gave many realistic examples of wonderful creatures that possess unique capabilities. Look at lightning for example. Why is it not possible that a creature God made can throw fire out of its mouth? You know how combustion works; why can combustion not work withing the mouth of a creature God created? Again, we as finite beings do not have what it takes to understand an infinite God. If I were you, I'd look at myself and see how wonderful and unique the human body is. I hardly think people believe anything they read unless they serious know that what they read has merit. I look at the Bible and I know it is the book of God, not only because He says so, but because it is littered with such beauty and such instruction. The number 7, God's divine number, is actually all over the Bible in a way that no human could have possibly written him/herself. |
