Christian/Muslim ThreadsHow do Muslims view the war in Iraq?Peace Believer, Because you suspect that Saddam had WMD’s or “trucked” them to Syria, doesn’t make it true. You have to produce your evidence for it. And since you don’t have any, drop it. It isn’t working. In conclusion, there was no evidence that Saddam Hussein possessed WMD’s. America lied, and went into a war based on a lie. No surprise there! America supports sanctions. It knows it’s killing the people of that nation. Yet it does nothing. And you describe it as being “stupid”? What’s wrong with you Believer? Do you not even care for other welfare of your fellow human being? Yes, America was responsible for the deaths of those 500,000 deaths of Muslim children. Yes, they are the cold killers. How can they not be? When you sit back, knowing you can put an end to it, but you ignore it and go on your merry way. I would agree that they probably did not sit there and say “let’s kill those Muslims”. But their actions said it. No difference. It wasn’t baseless. They knew what they wanted and how to get it. Nothing to gain? Where an earth have you been? What America gains is a government that is pro-west, just like Afghanistan. What it gains is access to the second largest oil reserve, on cheap. Refer to the quotes on my previous posts. Yes. There is a lot to gain my friend. You know in Australia, there is this notion that Americans are stupid. And one of the reasons is that receive their news from FOX news. Biased eh? It is well known that FOX news is in bed with the republicans. Believer, FOX news will not help your intelligence. It’s true. It was proven in the past and in the present. We’re looking out for our own interest thank you very much! God knows best. And He is never wrong. And America will always be America. Yes! We have dealt with their kind before. It’s better to be killed while you have some sort of Islam in the land then to bring in a system that goes against God and His rule. Where different to Christianity. We believe that God’s law should be implemented in the land. To say that it shouldn’t is pure disbelief. I see it this way. In one case, I’m being ruled over by a King or a dictator of some kind, but Islam is still alive in the land and is ruled to an extent by it (for example in Saudi Arabia). Then you have your example. Abandon the laws of God and the ways of the earlier generations by following a system that allows for such things as prostitution and in the process live the life of this world. Now tell me, where is that going to get me? If I choose democracy over Islam, then I’m a disbeliever. I’d rather choose a dictator and keep my Islam, then to choose democracy. Being a Muslim in all its right is more important to me. I know that you can’t get your head around it. You have something in common though. You’re greedy buggers who are out to look for your own interest even if it means destroying the lives of others. Bush said that “you’re either with us or with the terrorists”. Now majority of the Muslim world is certainly not with Bush. So we must be with the terrorist’s right? Hmmm…so then Bush is at war with the majority of the Muslim world. Yep. It is as I suspected. He is at war with the Islam. Osama Bin Laden is a Muslim who believes that he has to fight the Americans in order to defend the Muslim Ummah (nation) by any means necessary. I agree with why he’s doing it. But I don’t agree with how he is going about. There were eight Crusades in all. Some give a higher number. But we’ll stick with the eight as this is the number that Catholics give. Catholic Encyclopedia: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/04543c.htm You say that Christians never conquered any other land? What about the Christian crusade of Spain? When they once again ruled over Spain and in the meantime destroying all the Muslim sites and killing the Muslim moors? To answer my own question, it was the first Bush that told the Iraqi people to "take matters into their own hands and force Saddam Hussein, the dictator, to step aside." And they did thinking that they will receive assistance from the Americans. Instead American withdrew and left the Shiites with the mercies of that same dictator who brutally put down the uprising. Another failing of America in regards to the Iraqis. http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2003/s817231.htm So Iraqis are stupid? People live with the choices that they make (but at least they have that choice). If they are unhappy as you claim, let them have another revolution. In the meantime, it’s does not concern your country. What is with you people? Do you have too much time on your hands that you have to interfere in the governments of other nations? America has so many problems of its own. Concentrate on your own backyard before peeking over at the backyards of others. Did you get this from FOX news? 8) I’m sorry I don’t understand what “prosetlyze” means. Yes they did. The biggest deaths were caused by civilians getting caught up in the fighting between insurgents and the coalition. Understand though. Sadar believes he’s defending his country. These deaths are accidents to him but if it happens while it happens. If he had these missiles that America has, he would avoid these unnecessary killings. But he doesn’t, so he uses what he has. Now for him America shouldn’t be having any collateral damage because they shouldn’t be in the country in the first place. Hypocrisy doesn’t come into it for him And these were people who hated Saddam Hussein. But they are fighting against American. They don’t want America. Is it so hard for you to comprehend that? Well then there’s no solution. That’s that! Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
