Christian/Muslim ThreadsHow do Muslims view the war in Iraq?“The Defense Department asserts there are 12 nations with nuclear weapons programs, 13 with biological weapons, 16 with chemical weapons, and 28 with ballistic missiles that serve as potential threats to the United States. But only one of those countries sits atop the second largest oil reserves in the world. Iraq” http://www.newdream.org/iraq.html Now a post-Saddam Hussein Iraq would be enormously friendly to American oil firms, hence profiting greatly. The American administration would then be less dependent on Saudi Arabia for its oil. Problem solved for Uncle Tom! Top of the morning, mate. Top of the morning! What’s the difference? To vote means you’re supporting that individual. Why on earth would any sensible Muslim vote for either Kerry or Bush? Bush sent troops to an unjustified war making him a murder. Saddam Hussein is a criminal. There is no debate there. But America armed him. In 1988, when he attacked the Kurds, U.S. intelligence sources told The LA Times in 1991, they "believe that the American-built helicopters were among those dropping the deadly bombs." No I don’t. Democracy means that the supreme rule is for the people, while Islam teaches us that it is for God. It goes against my religion. The justification for this war was because of WMD’s. When they couldn’t be found, then the Blair-Bush began their ramblings on “freeing the Iraqi people”. What are you Bush's puppet? A priest once told me that a good Christian would be displeased with the actions of Bush. Since this is a war, soldiers will get killed, and if any soldier should be killed, it should be the coalition. In saying that, I don’t like to see one Muslim kill another, especially if they are innocent. |
