You Quoted wrong. Here let me help ya out here.
[4:82] Do they not consider the Qur-an? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.
Thats better. Please pay attention you might just learn something
whosurdaddy wrote:If Allah does not contradict himself, then everything that has purportedly
"come down from him" (the Bible, the Quran) must be in agreement. The Muslim must believe in the doctrinal unity of the books of Allah-the Bible as originally given and the Quran. But we have just seen they conflict. Muslims counter this by asserting that the Bible's text is corrupted, but without supplying any credible evidence to back their claims.
What relevance does this statement have to do with Surah 4:82 ? Surah 4:82 is dealing with it self(The Quran) not anyother previously revealed. revelation.
whosurdaddy wrote:Even so, the Quran contains contradictions within its own pages. For example, in Sura 11 it teaches that one of Noah's
sons didn't go into the ark, and thus "Noah's son was
drowned" in the Flood. The Quran then contradicts this
statement in Sura 21, where it declares that "we saved him
[Noah] and all his kinsfolk from the great calamity..
(According to the Bible, all of Noah's sons were delivered [Gen.
6-8].)

Yup you never read the Quran, but following someone elses supposed findings. You never had the ardacity to Quote the verse but only try to dictate them just like how it was dictated to you. We will look at those verses you say is a contradiction.
Lets take a look at Surah 21:76
[21] (Remember) Nuh, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress.
"
family" is translated from the Arabic word "
ahl" which means "people, family, followers, inhabitants" Ref. Edward Lane Arabic Dictionary
To give you an idea of the significance of the word have you ever heard of the title "ahl al-kitaab" ~ "People of The Book" which is the respected title given to those who are followers or adheres of the Bible ie. the Jews and the Christians in the Quran. So i guess you get the idea now of the significance of the word. It was not just Noah and his family members that were saved but also those who followed him of his people.
Now lets go on to the other Surah you Quoted Surah 11:45,46
[42] So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Nuh called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the Unbelievers!"
[43] The son replied: "I will betake myself to some mountain: it will save me from the water." Nuh said: "This day nothing can save, from the Command of Allah, any but those on whom He hath mercy!" and the waves came between them, and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood.
[44] Then the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!"
[45] And Nuh called upon his Lord, and said; "O my Lord! Surely my son is of my family[ahl]! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the Justest of Judges!"
[46] He said: "O Nuh! he is not of thy family[ahl]: for his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou act like the ignorant!"
[47] Nuh said: "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, lest I ask Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless Thou forgive me, and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost!"
If you had ever went back to validate your information in which you trusted, just cause they call themselves Christians, you would have seen their grave error ie LACK OF READING SKILLS AND FAILURE TO COMPREHEND THE CONTEXT.
Son is translated from the Arabic word "ibn" which means "son, boy, child, or lad" < (Ref. Edward Lane Arabic Lexicon)
Pay attention to the verse:
[46] He said: "O Nuh! he is not of thy family[ahl]: for his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou act like the ignorant!"
The context makes it clear that "Son" here is an IDIOM as the boy was not of the of the people of righteousness ie. the "ahl" ~ people/followers of Noah.
Do your self a favor whosurdaddy you see that link to the bottom of this post for free Quran ? I would best advise you to use it and study the Quran for your self rather than doing the monkey see monkey technique.
Note: I used Abdullah Yusif Ali's translation above as I found no problem with his translation of those verses except for the rendering "ahl" as "family" where the context defines it as "people" which is the proper general rendering of the word.
