Christian/Muslim Threads2nd contradictions in the Quran backed up by History! :: Re: 2nd contradictions in the Quran backed up by History!
The above contradiction posted is between Quran and Torah and not within the Quran itself. How can anybody says that Quran have some contradictions when actually he compares the Quran with other Books. Of course there are contradictions between the Books and that is why they were brought to different persons (Prophets). The Quran was brought to Muhammad due to deviation of the human kind from the true teaching in the original Torah and other Books. The Quran says with regard to Torah: And when there comes to them a Book from God, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of God is on those without Faith. (2:89) The above shows how Quran is to a certain degree confirms what is stated in Torah but then: Then woe to those who write the Book (Torah) with their own hands, and then say:"This is from God," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby. (2:79) It shows how the orginal Torah has been changed some individuals and the Quran was meant for changing the corrupted rules with better ones: None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that God Hath power over all things? (2:106) The word 'we' in Arab can also be used for singular. That is why among the conditions to interprate the Quran is one has to be excellent in both language and the culture of Arabs. |
