Is ancient Greek mythology considered anthropology? NO!
This Christian here decides he likes these old legends because they are similiar to his own, he is willing to believe these legends while writing off the rest of their beliefs as wrong. It`s pick and choose, are we to believe that they had contact with the Christian God who told them some truths but also threw a bunch of BS and lies at them on top of it? Come on.
Let`s consider some ancient man decides we must have been created, and starts passing on this idea. Then one day he runs into a civilization who speaks an entirely new language. The question arises about his God creating everyone. "why would these people speak a different language?" Hmm.. Well maybe God wanted us to speak different languages. But it doesn`t make sense that he could do it all at once because at first he created the first man and woman.. Hmmm, here`s a thought, he scattered them later as the population grew. Yeah that`s it! "Hey Achmed, pull out your papyrus and start scribing this down, and light that cannabis incense up!"
