Good Grief
Letting homosexuals marry is not going to be the end of the world and will not do anything to marriage. People will continue to get divorces at the rate of 50% plus if that is what you are worried about. I don't think it will impact that figure. But Congress doesn't need to ban divorce either. The homosexual divorce rate will probably be the same.
If you didn't see it on the news, you wouldn't even know it is going on.
With terrorist attacks, murderers, the fragile economy, environmental destruction and other issues, the last thing that Congress needs to do is start ruling on homosexual marriages. Even the idea is the most absurd thing I have ever heard of.
Congress has enough things to worry about than how people have sex and who someone likes. Gosh the homosexuals are going to have sex anyway, if that is what you are worried about. What do you think they are dong waiting for marriage?
This will just give them the opportunity I think to pass property on more easily and maybe see someone they care about if they are on their death bed.
People, homophobes, etc. continually clamoring about this issue, need to clean up their own act, stop contantly judging others, and chill out. Maybe if you didn't spend so much time trying to tell others how to live there lives, what you consider appropriate and not appropriate, and being some kind of watchdog for society, maybe you could be a better person yourself.
And that's the name of that tune. Sheesh. :x
And yes, I did write my Congressman about this issue.
