Rejoicing and Praising Jesus Christ Forum! The irrationality of SalvationI can`t comment, but I`ll look into it. I doubt it has any relevance anyway. False, the mitocondrial project traces back only so far, 200,000 years or so, we cannot trace it back further, and we know the dominant genes come from a single woman, the dominant male genes come from a male who existed thousands of years later. It doesn`t point to a single pair of humans living at one time. There are human- LIKE footprints alongside dinosaur footprints. These instances, like the Paluxy (sp?) river prints are not considered human, and are further disreputed by the lack of fossil evidence to back this up. Humans did not live alongside dinosaurs, unless you have some real proof other than some odd footprints. The canyons at mount st. H, are through soft earth, yes I can create canyons myself with a garden hose, but I can`t do it through solid conglomerate rock can I? As far as petrified wood, there may be charred wood, but I`ve yet to hear the claim of any petrification. That`s ridiculous. What geologists? For that matter what idiot geologist would make an assumption with only pictures to go by? I`ve seen that one on creationist sites, there is so much geology in the face of that claim, that the person who claims it might as well admit his ignorance straight off. There is nothing to gain by falsifying the canyon`s age. I`d remind you that if the canyon were the product of the flood, there would be canyons all over the face of the earth. Not to mention the geology there shows layers of desert sandstone atop layers of limestone, atop sandstone, etc. -indicating great time periods fluctuating between arid and wet times. Nice rant, too bad it comes after throwing out a bunch of bad science. |
