Salaam Unite,
Albert Einstein was not epitomizing Islamic belief in saying, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." I won't make Einstein's beliefs an issue, instead bring to your attention some odd thinking. In one instances you hold science and religion must be in agreement then in another a need for their separation. You would not commit Islamic beliefs to principle of simplicity, but had applied the principle to Christianity. And accord for yourself the right to reject what is "simpler than needed," as some sort of divine prerogative. Seems as though you're saying only Muslims have the right to decide when something is admissible, too complex or simple. As for Whosurdaddy's position, that should be least of your concern.
Muslim scholars, the keepers of Islam, generally reject attempts to proclaim 'science in the Quran' and notion all logical truth is agreeable. You would do well to familiarize yourself with their reasons. Also I recall there being a Quranic verse where Muslims are commanded, not to exceed the boundaries of their religion. Yet, you and many Muslims will proselytize a dawaganda which make them kafirun. Why then should anyone accept your brand of Islam which is rejected by orthodox Islam. Just as important, why should anyone accept your propositions as logical and not "blind faith."
You stared at our own proposition without blinking, "...it does not make sense to me. For that Allah has no son, no wife whatsoever"--Unite. The erroneous and odious allegation upon Christianity aside, an excellent Christian answer to the Muslim reframe, "To say for God to have a Son he needs a wife, is like saying, for God to be living he needs to draw breathe."--Daniel(?) The logical truth of this rebuttal is simply as it is sound, but Muslims are forbidden to accept it. So what do you mean by interrogation going beyond the status quo.
I know my replies come off as mere criticisms, making no case for Christianity. However, you've made yourself the subject in supposing to be the rational and logical freethinker, well initiated in Islam and Christianity. Below is a link to a newsgroup soc.religion.islam subject I believe has some relevance to this discussion. Thread is rather long and so are many of the articles, therefore time consuming, but imo, well worth time invested to read.
