Before I go on to answer you first response, I would like to answer your second one.
Yes, I am what some would label a 'Theist-Agnostic' -- please don't confuse that with being an 'Agnostic' or any of the other forms of that term. I am a full theist, just that I do not hinge on blind faith.
My beliefs are questioned within me time and time again, always making sure that I have a defense for the hope (belief) that exists in me.
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.
One of my favorite books is Ecclesiastes, because it shows a man who sought out to make sense out of that which made little sense. That is my approach.
