Rejoicing and Praising Jesus Christ Forum! The irrationality of SalvationLike you I am not a physicist or a mathematician. However, I find black holes a fascinating subject to study within my limited ability. I see black holes as the recycle bin of the universe. Many of the theories of physics are based on mathematics. Newton invented calculus to explain his theories of gravity and motion and as new phenomena are observed in our physical universe new methods of math are required to explain these phenomena. So what you have is man creating the way to prove what man wants to prove. I have a cousin who has a Ph.D. in physics and specializes in black holes. I hope to visit with him this summer and pick his brain about this subject. What is theoretical science if not faith in man’s ability to prove what cannot be seen like evolution and how the universe came into being. Evolutionists appeal to similarities in DNA to show evolution. On the other hand similarities in DNA can also be used to demonstrate a divine designer. You may find this statement esoteric but why redesign the wheel every time you are going to design a new vehicle that requires wheels. Back to black holes, I saw on MSNBC last evening that Stephen Hawkings thinks he can show how black holes conform to quantum physics and will present his thoughts at a conference in Ireland (I think) next week. |
