I didn't say i believe in both the Bible and the Quran.
What i meant was, i have to read throught both books to understand and not make any unnecessary comments.
Its just like for you to be raciall-connected to other race is to understand their way of life, their culture etc. so as to avoid making any unintended judgement that could anyway offend their race.
So it applies in this forum for me and i hope that other people posting here should do like wise.
To understand another religion is important, so i could avoid making bad judgements which could spark anger among other Christians.
I choose the Quran for guidance, i choose the Bible for futher understanding.
And btw, as i said in my post in "The Gospel according to Islam" we muslims believe in the resurrection of Jesus.
"And because of their saying, ‘We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God'- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Jesus was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. The have no knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely they killed him not (Jesus, son of Mary). But God raised him (Jesus) up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And God is ever All-Powerful, All-Wise" (Quran 4:157-158).
See, just that the difference in the beliefs of Christians and Muslims is that Christians believe he was resurrected after he was crucified on the cross, but we muslims believe Jesus was resurrected before he was supposedly crucified.
Yes, the Quran denies some things the bible said, that's why the Quran was brought down to guide us Muslims.
