Rejoicing and Praising Jesus Christ Forum! The irrationality of SalvationSeem to have trouble explaining this don`t I? I don`t know, and no one ever will if it comes down to the only thing we really can`t prove or disprove. That is deism. And worshipping a Deity is a waste of time. The big problem with deism is this being wouldn`t have a reason to create a universe it could never see, let alone the complications which arise when people need to have a creation. If everything must be created then we end up with an infinite number of Gods creating an infinite number of Gods, until one of them supposedly creates a universe. Let`s say I don`t care about universal origin. I`m here to dispute religion which claims divine intervention. "Intelligent design" is what this arguement presupposes. The worst thing about this non-theory is it explains nothing. It puts forward the idea that we can`t ever understand how things work so we must believe in a creator. I read somewhere about creationism replacing Newtonian physics with "intelligent control" What is rational about replacing workable theories with vaguaries? What is the writer of that quote you gave really saying? |
