Hello Omega & beads
Thanx Omega for the welcome.
beads:
My thread centers on an arguement that when Jesus said belief is needed
for ones saving from death, Jesus meant belief then also begins ones
determined will and acts for righteousness, giving God a just cause to
keep ones life, and just cause to issue it's help, and with the Holy
Ghost God's help is given. True Belief needs righteousness, and
righteousness needs sacrifice.
Romans is Paul arguement against works, and for life by only belief.
Paul was opposed to law long before he converted to christianity,
and using Paul is usual for they whom desire to escape their duty to
Christ's law and cross.
Ultimately, if it is ones desires to not take up sacrifice, one will
search the Bible and N.T. for others comments which serve their purpose,
and they will find them! Is it true they love Christ?
St.John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments"
St.John 14:21 "they that hath my commandments, and keepeth (do)
them, they it is that loveth me..."
St. Matthew 12:50 "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father,
whom is in Heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."
St.Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is
in Heaven is perfect"
St.Luke 9:23 "...if any person will come after me (follow me),
let them deny themself and take up their cross daily..."
St.Matthew 19:21 "...if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell (all) that
thou hast, and give to the poor, ....and follow me"
Christ does not ask belief by frivalous purpose, and he does not ask
mercy and righteousness without sacrifice, for this is also the issue of
ones choice two masters, and they are ones self-concern or ones service
to the well-being and good of another.
It is the Heart only which endows the Law with will and principle and
equity, and they whom dispute the need and duty to that Law in whole
reduce their own will and acts of and with and by and for the love and
compassion of life.
Now you also ask dispensation:
Dispensations are a catholic device their priesthood invented to
both command control over the peoples and finance their own needs
and wants.
Dispensations betray God's justice, and God's will for we live with
meaningful and good care for one another.
Dispensations betray Christ's own commandments, and the priesthood
have never had the power nor the right to forgive sins, nor give or deny
life in Heaven, so I say.
Regards to you both
