Christian/Muslim ThreadsThe 99 names of God, another Persian belief taken by Islam
If what you said above was true, and this was about the people in Makkah then why did the Quran talk about stars protecting the heaven from devils? Why would the Quran state something that sounds quite similar to old astrological myths of Persians? Why not talk about the even directly? I believe Islam contains myths, some Perisian, but more strikingly it has myths from Christian apocryphal writings. We can discuss that another place but you can find of them as a Sticky I made. It's about the Quran having a 400 AD apocryphal myth, you'll see that. We can discuss that. If you want to talk about other stuff like Mithraism, you can start a new thread. I don't want you to think we want to cover anything up, you know? We strongly feel our beliefs weren't taken from any other religion but are based in Judaism. |
