I'm a vernal 21 and was born and bred in England/Wales. I'm studying Maths and Physics at Warwick University, and actually can't remember much on my syllabus about evolution. I think it was assumed, but not so much explicitly taught. What I could have done with was somebody teaching me there were possible ways of reconciling science and Christianity.
However, this post isn't about evolution as such. It's about dinosaurs existing before man. And I don't think we're being narrow minded, because our stance is backed up by scientific fact, and it's hard to be ambiguous about it. Of course, belief that the Bible is inerrant [a belief I personally hold] cannot also be called narrow minded. But the problem is the nature of the Bible. To a degree, it's open to interpretation. Unlike Science in this context, people can, and usually do, take different stances on the meaning of scripture. Those Catholic fellows have been proving this for centuries.
So the narrow-mindedness emerges when we don't stop and try and understand and appreciate these other viewpoints. I don't think there's too much of that going on here... thankfully.
Anyways, back to the question.
Where are all the dinosaur remains which can be dated less than 7000 years old? And why have all those found been dated as much, much older?
