Nick, I think part of the reason some people label Christians "homophobes" is because of Fred Phelps and his group of psedo-Christian gay bashers. Because of them, it has been very difficult for Christians to share the Gospel and the Lord's Commandments, without being accused of being homophobic.
One thing you guys need to remember is that Jesus confronted the rich man with the Ten Commandments, and pointed out the two Commandments that the man had failed to keep. You should never try speaking to a person's intelligence when you're sharing the Gospel. It's much more effective when you speak to their conscience. Once a person's conscience convicts them of their sin, they're much more receptive when it comes to the Gospel.
Or so I've heard.
JMC, God does love you. But He doesn't smile when you do something that He's labeled an abomination. (In fact, He grieves for you.) Take a good look at Leviticus 18:22 and you'll see what I mean. Yes, He wants us to love each other. But He wants us to love Him more than each other, by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior and following His commandments.
Gerani, your statement makes no sense whatsoever. Constantly, you've said that you refuse to turn your back on your sexuality. Now, you're claiming that you're a homophobe?
