Nothing circular:
Things have been shown to have died before the existence of man.
Therefore there was physical death before the Fall.
Could you give us the verse which teaches that animals died because of sin? You've certainly showed that man was punished for sinning by death. But just because he ruled creation doesn't imply they got the same. [unless you give me verses to say so].
And God said everything was "good". Who are we to say what's "good" in the eyes of God? The wonder of our world is linked to our fleeting existence here. Death isn't necessarily a bad thing. For many, it's something to look forward to. A "good" world would not have to be free of death.
