Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement?A) Well it is also prophesied that one of the signs of the coming of Judgement day is that homosexuality will be widespread, that doesn't mean you don't take a stand on it. B) I've been waiting for you to p.m. me actually. The Al Suyuti book turned out to be a famous one. It does contain some great tips on self betterment but it happens to be the only defense of the "flat earth" theory by a Muslim that I and my scholar friends have ever heard. As for your question, not surprisingly Al Suyuti does not even provide us with the chain of narrators to the hadith in which he quotes Abu Bakr on the preservation of the Qur'an. As you would expect, such statements are passed around in Shiite circles who don't follow the same rigours of hadith authentication as Sunni Muslims. So my answer to you is, unless you can provide me with the chain of narrators which Suyuti himself has neglected in his book, I doubt anyone can give that hadith any merit. Believer********************************** I don't understand why you expect there to be any respect or legitimacy bestowed upon True Christians by Trinitarians when the early years of Christendom were rampant with infighting over the identity of Jesus (pbuh). You should expect that the hegemony belongs to the winners and the losers are the "heretics". Also, the teachings of the Injil were not kept by as small a group as you would expect. Much of north Africa and the Middle East was not Trinitarian, though by 600 their beliefs had been skewed from Jesus'. Can you link me to a site of Bible Prophecies? Actually there is NO regression. The only times you feel there is a regression is when you quote Saul on marriage in the Bible, when he himself was quoting the Talmud. Both man-authored texts. He was like Abraham. How exactly can I explain to you what Muslims recite? Basically you state your intention to pray to God, and the prayer you are about to pray. Then you read Surah Al Fatiha Then a Surah of your choice Then you do a half-prostration, with specific supplication Then stand back upright, with specific supplication Then you prostrate, with specific supplication Then you sit up, with specific supplication Then you prostrate again, with specific supplication Then stand back up Then repeat x1,x2,x3 depending on the prayer You end the prayer seated, with specific supplication. This is a very brief summary. Look bro, I'm not showing off or anything, but I know what you're talking about, I was a commerce major. Whomever is the borrower or lender, interest is being used. Then you should feel the same way about usury. 100%? No. But you can get very close, MUCH better than today's society's. No interest at all should be charged. Also, I answered your question. A Bank should only charge a service fee for connecting a borrower to a lender. What does this mean? It means that interest should not be charged on a per-dollar basis. That means that you shouldn't have to pay 6% on every dollar you borrow, or get 8% back on every dollar you lend. The bank employees should only make money for facilitating links between people, and this is a lump sum, not a per-dollar charge. That's how banks can stay in business. Obviously they won't be as rich since usury is unlawful to them anyway and shouldn't be profitable. This is outrageous. But don't priests have to vote other priests in or allow them to preach? How did that happen? Usury is not permitted for the Jews either. This is in the Old Testament even. Not surprising though, I'm reminded of the money-changers that had to be chased out of the Temple…. No, because money does not "wear and tear". Money is itself the value, and using it or carrying it doesn't decrease its value like using a machine. Don't get me wrong, it's still a grave sin, but it isn't AS sinful. There are degrees of sinful acts. For example, there's a difference between actually committing fornication and not lowering your gaze. Well whenever no human life is being damaged and no NEW life is being create then there isn’t anything wrong with that (creating regenerating tissue) However, stem cell research that amounts to cloning is forbidden, there are serious hereditary issues and intractable social problems that arise from this. These are abominations and degenerates who have no basis or defense in Islamic Scripture. I don't believe anyone is "born gay". What is forbidden is the homosexual act. And EVERY human on earth has the choice to act on their sinful thoughts, Satanic whisperings, or perversions. Thus homosexuality is completely avoidable if someone is willing to avoid sin for God. Also, if someone brings a slip from the doctor that says they are especially prone to stealing or gambling or drug abuse, does that mean they are excused from the sin? Absolutely not. It means they get MORE virtue in avoiding it, it doesn't mean they are permitted to commit the sin at all. Peace |
