ArchivedGerani, youll want to read this :: ReplyReply All right, Non-Christian. Time to administer the "Are You a Good Person?" test. I'll answer the questions, just to prove that I'm not going to hide anything. And if you have nothing to hide, I assume that you'll tell us the truth. 1: Have you ever put anything ahead of God? Yes. But I'm working on it. 2: Have you ever committed idolatry? No. 3: Have you ever blasphemed God's name? In my youth. 4: Have you ever dishonored your mother and your father? Yes. Again, working on it. 5: Have you ever committed murder? (In Mattew 5, Jesus states that if you hate your brother in your heart, you've committed murder already.) Yes. But I don't hate anyone now. 6: Have you ever committed adultery? (According to Jesus in Matthew 5, if you lust after someone in your heart, you are committing adultery.) Yes. But with Jesus' help, I'm lusting less frequently. 7: Have you ever stolen anything? Yes. But no more. 8: Have you ever given a false testimony? Ever uttered a "white lie" or exaggerated the truth? Yes. But no more. 9: Have you ever coveted something that doesn't belong to you? Not that I know of. I see plenty of things on TV and in magazines that I like, but I wouldn't say that I covet them. Gerani, it's called faith. Faith is believing in something, even when you can't see it with your own two eyes. Funny how you're always preaching about love and tolerance, yet you refuse to practice love and tolerance when it comes to Christians and the God that we worship. You'll gladly insult us when it suits your purpose. But when we reveal the truth, you're offended. And what's egotistical about sacrificing everything for God? If anything, that's the most unselfish thing a person can do. I'm willing to die for the sake of Jesus, if that's what it takes. Are you willing to die for the sake of your false gods? Omega and Gerani: I'm really regretting forgetting most of what I learned in the middle-school and high-school Spanish classes I took. (This is not good, if I plan on going on a missionary trip to Mexico. LOL) Translate, please? |
