Regardless, they all believe that Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again.
Except that they didn't.
Some were Gnostics, believing Jesus was the incarnate Logos but not God, the Arians just believed he was a supermen, created by God but still His Son, but not God. These two sects comprised the majority of this percentage, but they are very unrelated.
The Arians came much later and yet you can still clearly see from the very subject that was being debated that Trinitarianism wasn't as widespread as you believe. Can you imagine such a thing being debated today? Of course not. And that was just 300 years after Jesus' ascension.
I'm not aware of the existense of an Islamic Christianity.
If there was ever a sect that had the beliefs surrounding the Islamic Isa, they must be very small and obscure because I'm not aware of their existence.
Obviously they don't exist anymore. They became Muslims. But people believing in Jesus' true message always existed.
What do scholars and historians call this group?
Is there physical evidence that such a group existed?
I don't know what Christian historians call this group. Probably "random groups of heretics, all liars, they didn't know what they were talking about".
But if you want to learn more, read my book.
Exactly what the Mandeans believe.
They are far from the Truth.
But I DON'T believe in non-divine escape among other things, therefore Mandeans don't share the same beliefs.
Well, Islam does not have the words of Jesus that He spoke. That was written way long after His death, and it contains many flaky unreliable stories surrounding Christ. You're in no position to tell me the Gospels aren't the words of Jesus.
And that's exactly what the Jews told Moses. "What?! You mean you are telling us what Prophets who lived hundreds of years ago said?! No way, how would YOU know that?" It's called divine revelation.
If Jesus and Moses wrote the Gospels and Torah, how could we know about their deaths? Can one write their own autobiography including the events of their own deaths and what happens immediatley after their deaths??? That doesn't make sense. It is not bad that the teachings and life of Jesus were recorded by the Evangelists from the witnesses and Apostles.
Because the Bible is not the revelation given to Jesus (pbuh). Also, which parts of the OT describes Moses' death? Obviously not the parts revealed to Moses (pbuh).
It shouldn't matter because God always ensures His Word is correctly recorded so it is successful. He works in divine ways with His Spirit to ensure His Word is preserved. But you disbelievers lack faith that God is capable of ensuring His Word is preserved.
If people really had an ounce of faith in what they held, they would have done everything humanly possible to record God's word. They would have written it down and memorized it to this day, without a single interruption in narration. God always protects His Message, that will never be lost, but he tests people to see if they preserve it for others. Unfortunately many people fail that test, but Truth perseveres with or without them.
Did God require the Magians to pray 5 times a day also?
In the way Muslims pray? Obviously not.
That's very idealistic, if the government could lend money and not charge interest, and we didn't have to pay taxes, or owe anyone anything. That is very idealistic, but very unrealistic. Jesus doesn't want to see our countries collapse and see anarchy states arise. If we don't pay our interest on bank loans, then the banks WILL FAIL.
First you tell me anyone who says scriptures have changed doesn't have faith in God, then you claim that God's system isn't feasible? It's not idealistic at all because it IS possible to lend people without charging usury, it just can't happen with a civilization without morals and knowledge of God. Plus listen to yourself "the usurious banks will fail! Think of the poor interest charging banks". Do you have the same defense of pornography makers and drug dealers?
When someone borrows money from a friend, and that friend forces him to pay interest, that is a much different scenario that is quite wrong.
Usury is always wrong.
The owner of a bank in my town is a very good moral Christian that always plays the guitar at mass, and the community loves him.
He donated 1000$ to sponser a big pro-life concert at my dad's arena.
He is a good man, not the bad bank person you've described.
Many good people can be involved in activities they don't realize are sinful. Money earned from interest is unlawful.
I have a savings account, so I make a few pennies a month. Interest isn't much at all.
Paying taxes is not something we can escape, and we must pay taxes or our county will collpase.
Interest on loans is something that we must pay or the banks WILL fail, and we're in big trouble. Get it?
Taxes are different from interest because usury is explicitly forbidden. Interest on loans is something you have to pay in this system, that's why you should have checking accounts and avoid loans whenever possible. Try to pay them off as quickly as possible. If you can't change the system, try to avoid it.
Those perverted things should become banned. Nobody should have the right to see any sex scenes, or short dresses or anything that would incite improper sexual thoughts in one's mind. Nothing worse than a mild kissing scene is tolerable in my books.
Jesus wouldn't want others to become mislead by sex saturated media.
What do you think should happen to porn stars, dancers, whores, etc?
Should they be arrested? Recieve lashes?
They definitely need some kind of rehab. program.
Sex addiction is serious like drug addiction, I believe this.
Good answer.
You're not sure what "divine image of God" means.
It means we are superior to all creation, and other aspects of God that we have, that He gave us. The angels bowed to these holy image of God, not a physical image, but the holy aspects of God that he gave to man.
Yes, God favored man above His other creations.
