Make up your mind
Non-Christian, the answer is yes, we believe that Buddhism=idolatry. And I really doubt that Buddha would be thrilled with the idea that he's been elevated to something he never was: a god.
As far as the crucifix is concerned, Dr. Jeremiah (the man who speaks on the Spiritual Warfare CDs my friend Roger purchased for me) stated that Satan takes great pleasure in that image, because at least then, he can fool himself into believing that he defeated God. This is yet another reason why I'll never allow myself to follow the herecy that is the Catholic Church. I'll stick with the non-denominational church, thank you very much.
And yes, we do worship Jesus, Gerani. Did you read the article I posted? Did any of that penetrate your mind or your heart? Because it says what I've been trying to tell you all along: Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. God took on a human form, so that He could be revealed more fully. If you can't understand that, then I'm sorry. But I'm getting tired of constantly having to explain it to you, when you refeuse to do the research yourself. Now, this doesn't mean that I'll stop explaining this to you. It just means that I'm extremely frustrated, and a little surprised, at how little you paid attention to what I've posted. You tell us to research Hinduism. Well, isn't it fair for us to demand that you research the Bible? If you fear that you'll be confused about something, read the NIV, the one with the notes at the bottom. In fact, I highly recommend that one, because I've heard that the NIV translation is much closer to the original text than the other versions.
Not that I'm putting down the other versions. A Bible is a Bible. They're all important. I'm just saying...
The idols that you worship, Gerani, are demonically influenced. They are not going to help you. Tell me, have you ever once received what you've asked for as you've prayed to the false gods? If the answer is "Yes," at what price?
See, that's yet another wonderful thing about the one true God. All He asks is that (A) we accept Him as the one and only God and (B) we believe that what we ask for will come to pass.
Funny that a man who supports abortion because the babies are not "fully human" would claim to believe that life is sacred. Once again, when in doubt, whip out the contradictory statement. It never fails...to cause our jaws to hit the floor.
Now, back to the worshipping of false idols. I'm going to make the same challenge Jesus made thousands of years ago: make up your mind. Do you want to worship the one true God (Jehovah), or do you want to worship the false idols, who are demonically influenced? You cannot serve two masters. You must love one and hate the other.
Choose.
