Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement?Peace humble guest, Regardless, they all believe that Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again. Some were Gnostics, believing Jesus was the incarnate Logos but not God, the Arians just believed he was a supermen, created by God but still His Son, but not God. These two sects comprised the majority of this percentage, but they are very unrelated. I'm not aware of the existense of an Islamic Christianity. If there was ever a sect that had the beliefs surrounding the Islamic Isa, they must be very small and obscure because I'm not aware of their existence. What do scholars and historians call this group? Is there physical evidence that such a group existed? Exactly what the Mandeans believe. They are far from the Truth. Well, Islam does not have the words of Jesus that He spoke. That was written way long after His death, and it contains many flaky unreliable stories surrounding Christ. You're in no position to tell me the Gospels aren't the words of Jesus. If Jesus and Moses wrote the Gospels and Torah, how could we know about their deaths? Can one write their own autobiography including the events of their own deaths and what happens immediatley after their deaths??? That doesn't make sense. It is not bad that the teachings and life of Jesus were recorded by the Evangelists from the witnesses and Apostles. It shouldn't matter because God always ensures His Word is correctly recorded so it is successful. He works in divine ways with His Spirit to ensure His Word is preserved. But you disbelievers lack faith that God is capable of ensuring His Word is preserved. Did God require the Magians to pray 5 times a day also? That's very idealistic, if the government could lend money and not charge interest, and we didn't have to pay taxes, or owe anyone anything. That is very idealistic, but very unrealistic. Jesus doesn't want to see our countries collapse and see anarchy states arise. If we don't pay our interest on bank loans, then the banks WILL FAIL. When someone borrows money from a friend, and that friend forces him to pay interest, that is a much different scenario that is quite wrong. The owner of a bank in my town is a very good moral Christian that always plays the guitar at mass, and the community loves him. He donated 1000$ to sponser a big pro-life concert at my dad's arena. He is a good man, not the bad bank person you've described. I have a savings account, so I make a few pennies a month. Interest isn't much at all. Paying taxes is not something we can escape, and we must pay taxes or our county will collpase. Interest on loans is something that we must pay or the banks WILL fail, and we're in big trouble. Get it? Those perverted things should become banned. Nobody should have the right to see any sex scenes, or short dresses or anything that would incite improper sexual thoughts in one's mind. Nothing worse than a mild kissing scene is tolerable in my books. Jesus wouldn't want others to become mislead by sex saturated media. What do you think should happen to porn stars, dancers, whores, etc? Should they be arrested? Recieve lashes? They definitely need some kind of rehab. program. Sex addiction is serious like drug addiction, I believe this. You're not sure what "divine image of God" means. It means we are superior to all creation, and other aspects of God that we have, that He gave us. The angels bowed to these holy image of God, not a physical image, but the holy aspects of God that he gave to man. You should read the "Life of Adam and Eve", it has a the REAL(but still fake) story of the angels bowing to Adam and Satan refusing. |
