Hello there gerani1248!
hinduism believes that all religions are different pathes to one God. you might judge which is easier or harder, but it all depneds on which person is folloing, the believer. i do not reject chrisitianity entirly. just the fact that they believe that non chrisitians will burn in hell. other than that, im completly fine with chrisitianity. wait, then theres the clergy and then the pope(btw hes gonna die this year and three popes will come into power, one will be black). i dunno about other denominations.
That doesn't sound right at all!
How could that be if Christianity teaches that Jesus is the only way to God?
That is against what hinduism teaches that all religions lead to God, do you understand where i am coming from?
Do you see the error?
id rather stick to the religion i was born with. we believe int he same God. all i have to do is believe in Him, pray, and do good works. and then i can meditate and pray during the last years of my life to attain salvation. perhaps i will be reborn higher, perhaps i skip and see God! i dunno. ill play it by ear. i dont want to convert, you see hinduism is also a way of life. it involves so much with culture and the arts! u cant forget about the arts! im an art freak. i love carnatic music, bharatanatyam dance, and i love my veena (musical instrument) and i love to paint gods of the hindu pantheon. its soo lovely. im content with my life, i know i can attain Salavation.
See, once again good works will not help you to obtain salvation. When you say that you would rather stick to the religion that you were born with, then that basically means that you refuse all other religions, correct?
Your not being open minded and you are, which is it?
God Bless!
