ArchivedIs Jesus really God?Look Aineo, I'm not setting the parameters for this discussion or whatever you think I'm doing. I am only making it easier for myself because I know that if I ask you these questions, other members will jump in and try to debate with me when I'm asking YOU the question. I only said that I wanted to focus on YOU because if I go on to reply to other people who is trying to get my attention, I will lose my focus and probably get confused. Am I clear on that? AHA! There you go. Now we're gettin' somewhere! No. First of all, the key word in your paragraph is "claim". Jesus Christ NEVER declared Himself as God, the Father. He did however declare to be a Man. You want me to direct you to a verse where He said that? Second, because Jesus said He and the Father are one, what makes you believe or think that this is where He is making it known that He is the only true God, the Father? HA! Stop thinking ahead. These articles are not Jehovah's Witnesses. Alright, because you were cool enough to answer my first question, I'll go on to my second question. I'd like to make it clear to you that Jesus Christ is my Mediator--Mediator, meaning that He is between God and men. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (Tim. II. 5.)" If you believe Christ to be God, then who is YOUR Mediator? Answer! Now, in this post there are about 2 important questions I asked you. Remember that. |
