I do not intentionally mean to take your scripture out of context. I'm asking these questions in order to understand the meaning of the actual verse. And so far I haven't gotten a straight forward answer.
A straight forward answer was already given you
twice. Pray to God and ask Him to give you the Holy Spirit so you can have discernment. For it is written:
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13)
Preecha wrote:I didnt like half of your answers to these questions (yes im Christian), but the last one is really not right imo. Where did you get this interpretaion? This verse is saying that you must come to Jesus as a little Child does, with trust and other childlike qualities. It doesnt mean all children are saved. A little baby can be held accountable because ALL MEN HAVE SINNED! God has forknowledge. How is this a mockery of God????
Perhaps the best example to use if you support the idea that infants can be in heaven is the example of David's infant son. When it was alive and sick, David fasted and mourned. But when it died, David started eating because he knew where the child was going to be (2 Samuel 12:22-23).
Other Examples
1) Isaiah 7:14-16;The knowlegde of good and evil are not known by infants. Also: Deuteronomy 1:39
2) Jonah 4:11; The grown people of Nineveh were given mercy because they could not discern their left from their right, what more with infants?
I'm not saying I am sure infants will be in heaven, but there are instances which may lead me to believe this.
