Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement? Thanks webmaster for that enlightening information. Hey, I never played Ninendo or any of that when I was young, I read books and stuff, I did "scholarly" things when I was young. I wasn't any more or less mature than other little boys. How about you? Were you a little gamester? An act of worship is meant to benefit others, not impress God by remembering what you can easily refer to. That's why the Quran is called al-kitaab, the "book". You read books and refer to them. That's the beauty of it! No laws, you are not forced to do anything. All that is done is simple, doing good for others. All that is done is from the heart, and is not imposed upon you. You do good things because you want to do them, not because there's a law that says "do this X times a day". You cannot pray exactly 5 times a say and say the same prayer and be clsoer to God than someone who prays to God when they feel that they are ready to pray (2 or 10 times a day, maybe), and write their own unique prayers and litanies to God. Jesus taught us the basis of the Law, Love. Love for God and Lve for man. That is all we need to know man! Now we do not need all these laws to follow. In any given situation we ask "What would best please God and help fellow man" that will provide what to do in any situation. The Spirit wil reveal what the right decision is, whether or not people choose that right decision is another story. The Holy Spirit speaks God's Will to us believers. Yeah man, I'd be down too. Forget this....here's a better topic: What do you think about religious people that remain chaste their whole life, they never take a wife or have sex. We talked some about this already, but I think it's a good topic. I mean, it pleases God that people do things for others and abide in His Will. God never said we had to have sex in our lives or take a wife, that's optional. You'd be surprised how productive a single life can be. |
