There are a couple of prophecies that apply to our time that cannot be applied to prior generations.
Isa 27:12-13
12 And it will come about in that day, that the LORD will start His threshing from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered up one by one, O sons of Israel. 13 It will come about also in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
NAS
Dan 12:4
4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." NAS
2 Thess 2:3-4
3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. NAS
The Jews are returning to Israel, which started in the 1800's, knowledge is doubling every 6 months or less, and the Temple is yet to be rebuilt. The headwaters of the Euphrates is in Turkey and it runs through Iraq. The Brook (river) of Egypt is in the Siani Peninsula so keep an eye on Jerusalem and the Middle East.
